Introduction

At Fenway, the health and safety of our employees, clients and all other individuals involved in our projects, is of the utmost importance.

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment and to preventing accidents and injuries, insofar as practicable.

This Health And Safety Policy sets out our approach to managing health and safety and outlines the responsibilities of everyone working for or on behalf of the company.

Policy Statement

  • We will aim to comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

  • We will carry out risk assessments and take measures to eliminate or reduce the risks from our work activities and will provide and maintain safe plant and equipment.

  • We will consult with our employees on health and safety matters and encourage them to report incidents, near-misses and any other concerns they may have.

  • We will provide appropriate personal protective equipment.

  • We will seek to provide a safe and healthy working environment and take action to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • We will make clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and all other project stakeholders aware of this policy, and our broader approach to health and safety, and ask for their support in enabling us to safely deliver projects.

Responsibilities

  • The Fenway management team has the overall responsibility for health and safety and is accountable for the implementation and monitoring of this policy.

  • All employees are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.

  • All employees are required to comply with this policy and all health and safety instructions and procedures provided by the company.

  • All employees should report any hazardous conditions, defects in equipment or unsafe work practices to the management team as a matter of urgency.

  • All employees will attend the relevant health and safety training and instructions provided by the company.
